This is a new app, so it's not 'signed' yet, Windows may warn you, and VirusTotal may freak out 😭. The code’s all open source, so you can check it yourself if you're worried: github.com/lachydotmcg/capri-desktop. Mac is an early preview: she sits on your windows and chats, but there's no voice or Mainframe yet. Apple hasn't approved her yet, so macOS blocks her the first time. Unzip her, drag Capri into Applications, then open Terminal and run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Capri.app once. That only clears the downloaded-from-the-internet flag on Capri. Her brain runs on Ollama: install it, then run ollama pull gemma4:e4b. Needs macOS 15 or newer. Stuck? Ask in the Discord.
